PROGRAMming

Too cool for school? Then you’ve never been to an AdFed program. AdFed brings in speakers from leading agencies, consultancies, and branding firms to share their knowledge, strut their stuff, and impart their knowledge. And that’s cool.

ADS & ALES

Gather with your fellow ad-crafters once a month for frothy fun and bubbly conversation. Learn more about AdFed. Learn more about membership. Learn more about things you never knew you didn’t know.

Ads & Ales is typically held the last Wednesday of the month, but be sure and check our event calendar, because anything can happen.

SILVER MEDAL

The AAF's Silver Medal Award, established in 1959, recognizes men and women who have made outstanding contributions to advertising by furthering the industry's standards, demonstrating creative excellence and modeling responsibility in areas of social concern.

Since 1961, AAF member clubs bestow this honor upon outstanding members of the West Michigan advertising community.

SPeaker Series

It’s not who you know, it’s who you know that knows what you don’t know. You know? Once a month the AdFed brings in some the brightest brains around—whether from Grand Rapids or the Big Apple—to share their wisdom, knowledge, experience, and perhaps trade secrets.

From creativity to CRM, SEO to social media, our Speaker Series will give you new tools, sharpen the tools you already have, so maybe, just maybe, you’ll need a bigger toolbox.

Join us on September 13th @ Grey Skies Distillery for Professor of Creativity, Don Perini, and find out "How to get out of your own way."

American ADvertising Awards

It’s game on as West Michigan agencies, freelancers, filmmakers, and corporate communicators battle to the death for a coveted ADDY. (Kidding. Not kidding.) And the annual gala event, attended by nearly 500 is an opportunity for exposure like no other.

I’ve been a member of AdFed West Michigan for years. And years. If you eat, sleep, and breath advertising — if you love advertising more than you love most people — this is your club.
